The National Trust is Britains largest conservation charity organisation, caring for over 600,000 acres of beautiful countryside, 300 historic houses and 700 plus miles of spectacular coast line and have been conserving the nations treasures for more than 100 years.

The National Trust also look after archaeological remains, beaches, castles, downs, farmland, fens, forests, islands, moorland, nature reserves, villages and woods for everyone for all time.

The National Trust have close to 4 million members with 43,000 volunteers, more than 12 million people visit their pay for entry properties and an estimated 50 million visit their open air properties.

The National Trust does not include Scotland, although National Trust membership does give free entry to properties owned by the National Trust for Scotland, as a charity, the National Trust do not receive any direct financial support from the government, so the income they generate from membership fees is very important. The standard membership rate is £43.50 per year (intro rate £32.63).
Joint membership (two adults at the same address) is £72.50 per year (intro rate £21.75).
Family group (two adults at the same address with children under 18) is £77.50 (intro rate £58.13).
Family one adult (one adult & children under 18) is £58.50 (intro rate £43.88).
Additional member (To individual or family group, at same address) is £29.00 (Intro rate £21.75).
Young Person membership (age 13-25) is £19.50 (intro rate £14.63).
Child membership (age 5-13) is £19.50 (intro rate £14.63).
And child membership (age 0-5) is complety free.
